Comfortrust T-Shirt 1/4 size guide
Before buying the Comfortrust T-Shirt 1/4 for hiking, I did some research regarding what size to get, since it’s a breathable shirt that is supposed to be a bit tighter. Upon arrival, I was slightly nervous whether I was correct, but everything turned out perfectly 😊 Hence I wanted to share in case other people are also wondering.
Usually I wear an S. My T-Shirt 90 of the Swiss army was a 48, which, according to gnaegiverkauf.ch, is also an S. I figured that this might be relevant, since the shirt I was about to buy is basically the civilian version of the T-Shirt 06 (the newer version of “my” army shirt). But: the newer shirt is unfortunately not measured in chest size anymore, but in S, M, L, and so on. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to find a chart to convert the T-Shirt 06 size like on gnaegiverkauf.ch.
However, army-shop.ch suggests to buy one size larger, since its a tight cut due to the breathable material. So I did get an M, and can confirm that it fits nicely. Even if you’re a bit bigger than an athletic build/six-pack guy, it will not be too tight around the belly.
In summary: do get one size bigger than usual, and you will do fine.
